The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) announces an outstanding slate of exhibitions opening this summer and fall, with survey exhibitions of works by Wolfgang Tillmans and Pacita Abad, an installation of robotic sculptures by Fernando Palma Rodríguez, and other presentations of modern and contemporary art. These exhibitions spotlight artists from California, across the U.S. and abroad, charting connections between local and global audiences.

Una profunda revisión a las construcciones no solo en costa este sino en la oeste y quizá en todo Estados Unidos podría afectar la visión de los inversionistas en cuanto al riesgo que desean asumir junto con costos de mantenimiento y los constructores en cuanto a su prestigio y diseños; ya las inspecciones y re-inspecciones están de moda antes de comprar pero las aseguradoras tienen la última palabra, de cierto no es la edad del edificio pues hay edificios de más de 50 muy bien y hay edificios de 12 como esté terminado apenas en el 2009 en serios problemas y ubicado en otra costa, la de de Silicon Valley, la incertidumbre vender o comprar o construir.

Ahora en América surge públicamente un problema que amenaza la nación: la Millenniun Tower de San Francisco, famosa por sus vistas panorámicas, con 58 pisos numerados hasta 60 para 400 apartamentos y con todas las comodidades, uno de los 10 edificios más lujosos del mundo, también se ha ido hundiendo 45,7 centímetros y se está inclinando, según el ingeniero del Millenniun, Ronald Hamburger.
