The next chapter of the U.S. Travel Association will be led by Geoff Freeman, a proven association leader who has a track record of building talented teams and delivering game-changing results for varied industries. He re-joins the U.S. Travel Association after nearly a decade of association leadership—first as president and CEO of the American Gaming Association and as the current president and CEO of the Consumer Brands Association. He will join U.S. Travel on September 1.

 TRAVEL INDUSTRY WELCOMES LIFTING OF PRE-DEPARTURE TESTING REQUIREMENT FOR INBOUND AIR TRAVELERS FOLLOWING MONTHS OF ADVOCACY

Repeal of testing requirement for all inbound air travelers projected to add 5.4 million visitors to U.S. and $9 billion in travel spending through remainder of 2022

U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Roger Dow issued the following statement on the Biden administration’s announcement that the pre-departure testing requirement for inbound air travelers to the United States will be lifted on June 12:

“Today marks another huge step forward for the recovery of inbound air travel and the return of international travel to the United States. The Biden administration is to be commended for this action, which will welcome back visitors from around the world and accelerate the recovery of the U.S. travel industry.
